1. For quick soak beans, rinse beans and place in pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and let simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let sit for 1 hour. Drain and rinse, and return to pot with fresh water and bring to a second boil Reduce heat, and let simmer for 1 hour or until beans are tender. Drain and keep liquid.
2. In a large baking dish, add drained beans, 1 cup of cooking liquid, butter, onions, ketchup, Whitt's Sweet Brown Sugar BBQ Sauce, brown sugar, white sugar, molasses, liquid smoke, cinnamon, nutmeg, and bacon. Cover and bake at 300° for 3 1/2 to 4 hours, until beans are tender and sauce is thickened. If sauce thickens too much, add more cooking liquid. Add more sugar, cinnamon, or nutmeg as desired.

Note: If you desire to use pre-cooked beans such as Campbell's Pork and Beans, place in baking dish and add all ingredients except for ketchup, and for added flavor saute onions in butter before adding to beans. Cover and bake at 375° for about 2 hours or until beans are tender and sauce is desired thickness.
